Need help? Email support@radiorelay.app and include your department and the email address you sign in with. We usually reply within one business day. For anything urgent on a live incident, use your department’s radio and dispatch — RadioRelay doesn’t replace them.

Getting access

How do I join my department on RadioRelay?

RadioRelay is invite-only. Your department’s RadioRelay admin sends an invitation to your email; open it on your phone to set up your account. If you haven’t received one, check your spam folder, then ask your admin to resend it.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password? and follow the link we email you.

Alerts and listening

I’m not getting notifications.

  • Make sure notifications for RadioRelay are allowed in your phone’s settings and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t silencing them.
  • Check the group isn’t muted (the bell at the top of the chat).
  • Sign out and back in, which refreshes your device’s notification registration.
  • If you recently switched between a TestFlight or beta build and the store version, delete and reinstall the app.

Live Listen stops in the background.

On Android, allow RadioRelay to run in the background and don’t restrict its battery use. On iPhone, keep RadioRelay open in the background (don’t swipe it away) while you listen.

Safety

How do I report a message?

Press and hold the message in group chat and choose Report message. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaks the rules. The sender isn’t told who reported them.

How do I block someone?

Press and hold one of their messages and choose Block. You won’t see their messages or get notifications from them, and they aren’t told. To unblock, go to Profile → Blocked people.

Your account

How do I change my name or photo?

Tap your picture in the top-right corner of the feed to open your Profile.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. If you can’t use the app, see Delete your account.
